Judy Go Wong is a dynamic on stage and on-camera executive presence coach, global speaker, and best seller author, dedicated to helping professionals transform their presence with confidence, authenticity, and authority.
With a multifaceted background in entertainment, Judy has worked as an actor, producer, director, casting director, hair and makeup artist, wardrobe designer, and lighting designer. Her expertise spans film, television, and executive coaching, making her a trusted mentor for professionals looking to master their on-screen presence.
Judy’s path to becoming a sought-after executive presence coach is rooted in a lifetime of experience in the entertainment industry. An American-born Chinese woman raised by Cantonese-speaking parents in Long Island, New York, she grew up working in her family’s restaurants—rising to assistant manager in her teens and helping launch new locations by twenty-five.
Her passion for the arts took shape later in life when local business owners invited her to appear in ads, websites, and TV commercials. She later became a SAG-AFTRA actor, spending multiple seasons on House of Cards and VEEP, where her presence shone brightly.
Judy is also an award-winning filmmaker, singer, and screenwriter, with deep expertise in wardrobe, production design, and catering. Her book, "How to Start a Film Acting Career Right Where You Live," reflects her dedication to empowering actors and executives.
Judy’s dedication to mentorship extends beyond entertainment. As the creator of Lights, Camera, Action!, Judy empowers executives and professionals to overcome insecurities and master their stage and on camera presence. She helps them look and feel their best, refine their messaging, and confidently engage with their audience. Through personalized guidance, Judy also helps clients gain clarity on what they want to achieve in the next 90 days, identify what they need to prepare, and create a focused plan to move confidently toward their goals.
Drawing from years of coaching high-level professionals, Judy provides strategic tools to enhance body language, framing, lighting, sound, and vocal techniques. With a comprehensive approach that addresses both mindset and technical skills, she equips individuals to win business, maximize their influence, and step into the spotlight with confidence.
Judy has always been passionate about helping others unlock their potential. From 2017 to 2018, she mentored the Smithsonian's Freer Sackler Teen Council, teaching life skills, confidence, and filmmaking. She also served as the Director of Operations and Festival for Asian Pacific American Film, Inc.
Whether through speaking engagements, coaching, or her transformative "Lights, Camera, Action!" Program, Judy’s mission remains clear: to help professionals refine their presence, embrace their unique gifts, and confidently step into their next level of success.
