Judy’s path to becoming a sought-after executive confidence coach is rooted in a lifetime of experience in the entertainment industry. An American-born Chinese woman raised by Cantonese-speaking parents in Long Island, New York, she grew up working in her family’s restaurants—rising to assistant manager in her teens and helping launch new locations by twenty-five.
Her passion for the arts took shape later in life when local business owners invited her to appear in ads, websites, and TV commercials. She later became a SAG-AFTRA actor, spending multiple seasons on House of Cards and VEEP, where her presence shone brightly.
Judy is also an award-winning filmmaker, singer, and screenwriter, with deep expertise in wardrobe, production design, and catering. Her book, "How to Start a Film Acting Career Right Where You Live," reflects her dedication to empowering actors and executives.
Judy’s dedication to mentorship extends beyond entertainment.
